Hi,
I stayed with my family in your holiday homes in Liscannor in August 2009 for 2 weeks. This is the second time we have stayed here as we like the area. While the weather could have been better the kids really enjoyed themselves. In fact they all preferred their holiday in Clare to an earlier week we had away in Spain in June where the temperature was 30-35 degrees.
There is loads to do in the area what ever the weather and the kids loved the freedom of cycling around the site until 10 at night. Only gripe was the on site play which flooded after heavy rain although this was sorted after a few days when a new bark base was put in.
The kids really want to go back so that is as good a recommendation as I can give !
I stayed for one week in The Grove holiday homes in Killorglin, Co. Kerry and i have to say it was one of the best holidays we have had over in the west. The house was fabulous, really modern, clean, in a great location and with views of the mountains and rivers, it was really hard to leave.
You are about a 5 min stroll into the Village with a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops. For a bigger variety you have Killarney 15 mins away and then Tralee about 20 mins, so it is a great base to tour Kerry and what it has to offer. Rossbeigh Beach is about a 10 minute drive away and is out of this world, 3 miles of golden sand.
I would definitley go back and would have no hesitation recommending this property.
Hi,
just wanted to leave a comment about Achill Sound Holiday Village. I went there on a surf weekend with my friends. We travelled the whole island checking out all the traditional pubs, and the beaches are perfect not forgetting, the surf was great. The houses were very well maintained with all the essentials and in a great location right beside the shops so we could pick up the much needed fry up in the morning .Everything you need is a short drive.
I would definately recommend this location to others. Thanks a mil
Stayed for 5 days in Kincora holiday apartment in Killaloe using a booking from Irish Ferries. The apartment was excellent and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely stay. It was beautiful weather which made the holiday. My only criticism is that the Irish Ferries brochure suggested you could see Lough Derg and it was not strictly true. The welcome we received from the rep was good and I would really recommend the place. Good local shops but needed to drive to local restaurants.
However a word of warning if taking young children. The door springs were very strong and under 5’s could easily trap their fingers.
I stayed in Ballyhoura Forest Homes in August 09 with my family. The children had a great time with 3 playgrounds on site so they were never bored. There is plenty of walking and a great bike trail.
The house was great a real home from home. The onsite supervisor was very helpful she had lots of leaflets about places to go. Only 15 minute drive to Mitchelstown which has a fantastic market on Thursday’s. Looking forward to our next trip with Trident.
Hi,
We stayed in Forest Haven in Dunmore East and had a brilliant holiday. Everything-shops,pubs, restaurants and of course the lovely beach was only a stroll away from the houses. The houses were very well equipped with everything we needed for a self catering holiday. They were also spotlessly clean and the Rep,Kim, was so helpful and gave us loads of ideas of places to visit in the area. There was a great playground in the centre of the village and the children had great fun searching for “creatures” in the rock pools beside the beach.
A trip to Hook Head Lighthouse is a must.
Had a fab time, would highly recommend it and the children ages 12,6 and 4 can’t wait to go back.
Thanks Trident
hi i stayed in a trident holiday home in lisdoonvarna in september and i have to say
it was just fab. The house was brillent. it was spotless extremely comfortable and had
everything you would need as regards cooking washing etc. I will definitely be going
with trident holiday homes again as it was one of the most comfortable holiday i have had. No hotel for me anymore. You can come and go as your please with so much comfort. I would highly recommend trident holiday homes .
Todate I have stayed in 3 different Trident Holiday Homes (and counting) and have never found fault with any of their properties. Travelling anywhere with family and or friends, deciding on holiday accommodation is always difficult but with the wonderful assistance from Trident Holiday Home’s administrative staff, the right decision has always been made for me.
On arrival regardless of the time of year, their Self Catering Properties or laid back luxury accommodation that is self catering, allows you more than your typical home comforts which is fantastic, especially if you have children. I have always found the benefits of T.H.H. self catering, can out weigh any other option purely out of its flexibility and home like atmosphere. All properties I have visited, have been spotless clean with ample supplies close to amenities.
I would highly recommend Tridant Holiday Homes to any discerning holiday maker (or Shirley Valentine wannabe) and believe me, I have tried many other companies but not with the same results. They do exactly what they promise and have never let me down no matter what my demands.
I stayed with friends at a Woodstock Demesne holiday home for a few days in order to attend a wedding reception at the nearby Marriot hotel. The comfortable accommodation was set in picturesque, quiet and tranquil countryside. It was maintained to a very high standard and I was most impressed with the efficiency of the supervisor who was most welcoming and helpful to us. Many thanks.
Stayed at Killaloe a couple of times now, with Wife, Daughter, Grandaughter, Son in Law and his Mum……..Great place…….facilities in the Lakeside Homes are very very good indeed.
Will be back again this year (2010) all being well.

My family and I stayed in Seacliff Holiday Homes which are on the grounds of Dunmore East Golf Club. The houses were beautiful and we had a great time in Dunmore, the Manager, Valarie , was very helpful and really went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I was able to avail of the discounted green fee rates for the amazing golf club, really one I would recommend to any golfers, while the kids were delighted with the well equiped playground. Really looking forward to our return in July.

We have just returned from our 8 day trip to Killarney. The Avenue holiday homes were clean, warm and comfortable. Sheila and Michael were very helpful. The location was perfect for us as well.
We will be back!
thank you,
The Strazdas Family from New Jersey
Stayed in the Avenue Holiday Homes in Killarney for mid-term Break and such a holiday. The house was absolutely fab.Sheila Croinin was so welcoming and kind and full of valuable information.Swim was so great in THE Malton with all staff so nice.Lots to do for under 7s.We were just so sorry we were not able to avail of the full week.Train service to Killarney is great if not in a position to drive as we were.Would have loved to bring Sheila (as she was a real tonic) and the holiday home (because it was so fab) back to Tipp with us.Cannot recommend it enough.Would hope to get back there.
i my family and i stayed innisfallen holiday village on feb 2010.have to great locaton very safe for da children. The house was very spacious all mode con eveything u need.Would highely recomend any to stay great value, will be returning.
Just returned from excellent 2 weeks at Innisfallen near Killarney.4th time there and continue to find accomodation and locality excellent. The whirlpool bath very welcome after day walking in nearby mountains.
Friendly and helpful on site supoort
We have just returned after a weeks stay in Lisdoonvarna. The property was really clean and comfortable and Debbie the supervisor was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. I was particularly pleased with the travel cots and high chairs that were provided for my 2 young ones- having stayed in various holiday homes I have seen some horrors in my time! There are plenty of tourist attractions within a short distance and it was an ideal base for us to travel around. Would definitely return here and would highly recommend it to others.
STAYED FOR A WEEK IN THE TRIDENT INISFALLEN HOLIDAY HOMES IN KILLARNEY IN APRIL 2010. THE HOUSE IS VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND HAS EVERY MOD CON YOU NEED. LOVELY JACCUZZI BATH FOR CHILLING OUT IN BUT MAKE SURE YOU HEAT PLENTY OF WATER FOR IT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS ONE OF THE DOUBLE BEDS IS QUITE SMALL MORE SUITABLE FOR 2 YOUNG CHILDREN. ABOUT 15 MIN WALK INTO THE TOWN AND VERY NEAR THE NATIONAL PARK WHICH IS STUNNING. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS AND VERY SAFE FOR YOUNG KIDS TO RUN AROUND. GREAT LOCATION FOR TRAVELLING TO BEACHES LIKE ROSSBEIGH OR BANNA BUT PLENTY TO DO IN KILLARNEY IF YOU DONT WANT TO TRAVEL. SHIELA RECOMMENED WE TRY THE 5 STAR EUROPE HOTEL FOR A DRINK OR A BITE TO EAT GLAD SHE DID, STUNNING VIEWS FROM THERE AND BEAUTIFUL HOTEL VERY RELAXING WOULD BE FAB IN THE SUMMER SITTING OUT LOOKING AT LAKES. FOUND SHIELA VERY HELPFUL AND NO PROBLEM RINGING HER
IF YOU HAD A PROBLEM. REALLY ENJOYED IT AND WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. ANGELA
The fact that the sun shone every day and Kerry never looked so beautiful no doubt may have given me a biased view of holidays in Ireland but I had to write to say how excellent our base in Grove Lodge in Killorglin was for the few days. I had been led to believe that Killorglin was a ‘dismal place’ according to the Lonely Planet or some such publication – nothing could be further from the truth. The properties are right on the river Laune and each morning we woke to the beautiful sight of swans nesting on the banks against a backdrop of purple mountains. Killarney and Tralee are 20 minutes drive; Dingle around 45 minutes and Glenbeigh and Rossbeigh beach just 15 minutes. We got to the Blaskets from Dun Chaoin just beyond Dingle, and to the Skelligs from Ballinskelligs pier. Both boat trips were spectacular days out, with boatmen willing to give us all the local information. Our skipper to the Skelligs took us all around the Little Skellig which is home to the second largest nesting colony of gannets in the world – it was like a miniture Galapagos! The puffins don’t arrive till May, so we missed those, but did see some seals sunbathing on the rocks – in April! Each evening we arrived back to Killorglin to eat in some of the best restaurants you could wish for, Giovanelli’s, a little italian with just a few tables, so you need to book; the Tapas bar in the old church, full of ambiance and the Bianconi. The library in Killorglin has a permanent exhibition of Pauline Bewick’s paintings, well worth a visit and a coffee in the cafe. The only ‘negative’ about the properties was the fact there is just parking for one car and it’s tight and you definitely need a torch or high vis jacket to walk to and from Killorglin, as there is a 100 yd stretch of road that is dangerous enough. We will be back! Thank you.
We stayed in the holiday homes in Liscannor over the June Bank Hoilday weekend. The house was excellent and very spacious and great value for your money (We were a group of 6). The house is situated very close to the village which was very handy as we had a small child with us. The village itself is brillant and we all were pleasently suprised with gastronomical feast that we had in Vaughans (I still get hungry thinking about it!!!) Liscannor is very central, with Lahinch and Doolin only a couple of miles away and the Cliffs of Moher on your doorstep there is loads to do. The views are to die for espically on the way to Fanore Beech which was the beech we went to and it was brillant. I could not recommend Liscannor and Liscannor Hoilday Homes enough and I cannot wait to make a return trip next year.
we stayed in innisfallen holidays homes from june the 12th to june the 19th 2010 must say the house was lovely, had great view of the mountains. Sheila and michael were great nothing was to much trouble, also stayed with them in the avenue, near train very handy for shopping in the outlet center. Trident every time. hope to be back soon pg
Thank you from Joan Richard and marie.
Our family is just back from Innisfallen holiday homes in Killarney. Fine 4bedroom house, quite location. Ideal for family. House needs to be checked for cutlery dishes etc, we had 3 houses so were able to share equipment with each other. Would have liked if there were swings etc for children to play in or some sort of play centre. Would stay here again and recommend to book one of you staying in Killarney. I shall use Trident Holiday homes again.
Sheila and MIchael very nice to deal with. Thank you
Our family stayed in Innisfallen Holiday Homes in Killarney from the 12th June to 26th June 2010. Had a fabulous time, the house was beautiful. Michael and Sheila could not do enough for us – anything we looked for was got straight away. Innisfallen was a fantastic base for our holiday, as we had guests from the UK who had never seen Kerry. They were overwhelmed with the house, its location and Kerry. We will definately book with Trident again!!! Thank you.
We arrived home on the 03/07/2010 after spending two great weeks at Seacliff Trident in Dunmore East ,lovely 3 bedroom house , very clean and well equiped , although i would suggest putting in a small free standing freezer in the utillity room , as the ice box in the fridge is so small ,also would have liked the onsuite in the room with the double bed , the house’s are beside the Dunmore east golf course , at the top of a steep hill ,the view over looking the golf course is beautifull , Woodstown Beach is a few minutes drive away, a nice clean beach , Waterford city is 20min Drive away ,Dunmore East is a lovely place to Visit , we were also very lucky with the weather ,We are looking forward to going back next year , The supervisor Val was so nice and helpfull to us , I must say i would recommend Trident Holiday homes , my husband said the same .Well done Trident Holidays Homes .
I’m just back home from 2 weeks in Killarney, staying in the Innishfallen Holiday Homes.
And i wish i was still there!!!! I love Killarney and the Innishfallen are ideal.
1. they are very spacious,
2. very well maintained
3.a10 min stroll into the heart of Killarney,2 min stroll to the national park
4.in a safe area where the kids can go outside and play with new friends while adults relax indoors(or meeting their new friends too)
5.There’s a fantastic playground on the road into the town by the cathedral for kids of all ages.
6.Shiela and michael, the caretakers are sooo friendly and will help you with anything you need
7.a perfect house for families or groups

12th July 2010
we had a fab holiday in the Loretta Holiday homes in killarney in June. The house was lovely – really clean & modern in a lovely country location with great views. Sheila & Michael looked after our every need as usual (we stayed in the Insfallen homes in 2009). The weather was lovely also we will be back again next year!
Just back from a week in Innisfallen Killarney – Great houses. Big – 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. Spacious all over. Quiet area so perfect for children playing kickabout or tennis out the front. On the edge of Killarney town and National Park. Highly recommend these houses. hoping to go back again soon!!
Stayed for a week in the Avenue Holiday homes, they are a stones throw from the town. The house was a great size, there was 4 adults and 5 kids staying in the house and we had plenty of room. They were spotless and Sheila was only a phone call away if we needed anything. I stayed in the InnisFallen the year before and for getting around and things to do I would go for the Avenue as you are in walking distance from everything, which was great for the kids!!!!! Have been two years in a row and Im planning a hat trick for next year!!
We stayed at Loreto Chapel houses in Killarney. These were of a high standard, new, modern, clean and well maintained. There was adequate cooking appliances if you wanted to do so. The location was peaceful and in a good neighbourhood. They were on the Muckross Rd and this was ideal for doing the Ring of Kerry, Muckross House and Torc Waterfall. Mac’s Restaurent in Killlarney was also good providing a menu which suited families. There was also an M&S Food store in the Deerpark shopping centre. We really enjoyed our stay and it was v relaxing .
We stayed in the Dingle Courtyard Cottages. The location was perfect, near enough to the centre of Dingle that you could comfortably walk but you were also in a quiet area with a lovely view of Dingle Harbour. It was a great base for touring the County and the house itself (2 bedroom) was very clean, with all mod cons you would expect. We have recommended Trident and this location to friends as we genuinely enjoyed our stay that much. The staff of Trident are also extremely courteous and helpful.
We stayed at Ballyhoura Forest Homes the last week in July. We had a great time and I could not say enough in praise of the caretaker Ita. She was more than helpful, she was so welcoming and informative and even left us in a cake to have with a cup of tea!
The place is really relaxing and peaceful and there is a lot to do and see in the area.
I would recommend the log cabins and the surrounding area is very beautiful.
This was our 4th trip away with Trident and I dont think we ever met the caretaker on previous trips but Trident can be very proud of their staff at Ballyhoura as it really does make a difference to have someone helpful on hand. Thanks very much Ita.
Regards
Carol.
We stayed for almost a month at Haywood Mews near Swords, Co. Dublin, May – June 2010. It was marvelous. We recommend Trident to everyone for excellent customer service, rates and quality. ( We’re sure Trident arranged the weather too ….. it was excellent as well! ).
We are just back from a great week away in Lisdoonvarna. The house was lovely and really clean. Debbie and Ben, the caretakers, were very helpful and informative about the area. The area is great for all the family, even though the weather was very wet there was plenty to do. There was a great farm near by, pony trekking, blueberry picking and seaworld were just some of the activities to keep us entertained. We made it to Fenore beach for some sand castle building during the dry periods! There was a fantastic kids playground in walking distance that catered for all ages. Debbie organised a babysitter for our last night and we had a fab meal in The Wild Honey Inn. I would really recommend this location for a family holiday. We love to return again next year!
Hi, Just came home from hols in Terryglass in Tipperary, the family including the two year old granson & Dog had a great time. The Old Court Cottage’s are very child & pet friendly which lots of room to play around, the house was a good size. The local pub Paddy’s Bar had the warm and friendly atmousphere you would expect from a lovely town like this, we enjoyed the singsong even managed to get a song ( or two ) in myself. Would recommend the place as a great base to see the the surrounding area. Many thanks to everyone there for their great hospitality and hope to return some time soon.
Best wishes the Whelan Family
We (3 adults and 1 2-year old) have just returned from staying at the Loretto Chapel Holiday Homes in Killarney for a week. The house is in a lovely quiet area and is very clean and warm. You have everything you need supplied – washing machine, dishwasher, hoover, iron, microwave and the kitchen is well stocked. There is also a full size fridge which is a bonus. You can request a highchair and travel cot which we found very handy.
The only thing I would change would be to request a house with a gate at the side giving/restricting access to the back garden for security reasons with a toddler on board! Some houses have side gates, some don’t.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately be back. The houses are a 10 minute drive to Killarney town and to Muckross House and the Killarney National Park which is a fabulous place to bring children. There are traditional farms to visit and a lovely restaurant and gift shop in the park. Overall we had a fabulous week and will definately return to Killarney and to the Loretto Chapel Holiday Homes.
Best Wishes
